Hello everyone. After reading and posting on some of the woodworking forums, I've finally decided to take a shot at creating my own blog. I've been reading a number of woodworking related blogs recently, and finaly stumbled across what seems to be a relatively easy method of creating a Blog. So I thought to myself, why not give this a try? Expand your horizon a bit and take a leap of faith to put yourself out there a bit and see where it takes you. Who knows where this will end up but I'm willing to give it a try and see where it leads.
I've been woodworking as a serious hobbyist for the past 4 years, and during that time have managed to build a fairly nice basement shop with some decent equipment. My projects so far have been mostly cabinet work for my home, but I have built some furniture pieces that my wife thinks are good enough to actually use in our home, so I guess that means I'm of to a good start. I wish I could dedicate more time to being in the shop, but with work demands and travel, the various sports activities for the kids, and now finishing my basement, furniture making will need to fall down in the priority list for a while.
Anyway, I'll try and post some pictures of the things I have built and of my shop over the next couple of weeks.
